YEAR: 2016
-
DURATION: 18 mesi

COORDINATOR: Gecko Programmes (UK)

PARTNERSHIP: Globtrain GbR.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The DEEM project, coordinated by our partner Gecko Programmes (UK), aims at the transfer of good practices related to the development of entrepreneurship and employability skills in the participants to international mobility programs with a view to the recognition of competences and qualifications (ECVET) for the inclusion of young people in the national and European labor market.

The planned training program is designed to work in symbiosis with work placement systems, allowing learners to record their personal and professional goals through the use of individual development plans, which are complementary to training.

GOALS: The project is based on an Anglo-Saxon learning methodology, centered on the student and offers an innovative pedagogical approach for the project partners. This is an empirical approach, which aims to offer immediate solutions to involve companies in work-based learning paths and to help participants in mobility programs to integrate themselves, in a perspective of sustainability, into the labor market at the end of the transnational experience. The concrete results of the project also aim at developing quality assurance mechanisms to improve professional training through a clear definition of learning outcomes for learners.

PARTNERSHIP: There are 10 partners are participating in the project, coming from 5 EU countries (United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Germany and Romania). These are training organizations that have been implementing Erasmus+ international mobility programs for years and other actions aimed at work-based learning, contributing significantly to the achievement of the objectives of the Europe 2020 Strategy, the ET 2020 Strategic Framework and the Youth on the Move initiative.
